The 1927 Mississippi River flood was one of the most devastating floods in American history. It caused over $400 million in damages, killed 246 people and left thousands homeless.

    The looks of those photos are so vintage! Well, the incident happened a very long time ago, those would really be so retro. However, the view of each photo conveys a similar message – the effects of flood. I think they weren't really prepared before with their drainage systems. I guess they have worked on those issues right now.
